Ovulation Induction & Cycle Monitoring

Ovulation induction and cycle monitoring are fertility treatments used for women who have difficulty ovulating. One of the most common causes of this is anovulation, often linked to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). PCOS affects hormone balance, disrupts normal ovulation, and can make it harder to get pregnant.

PCOS may present with irregular or prolonged menstrual cycles, enlarged ovaries with multiple follicles, and increased levels of male hormones that can lead to symptoms such as excess facial or body hair. Because ovulation may not occur regularly, fertility can be affected.

When you should consider Ovulation Induction?

Ovulation Induction & Cycle Monitoring at Nordica Fertility Centre

At Nordica Fertility Centre, ovulation induction and cycle monitoring are used to assess and support the ovulation process. Hormonal assessment tests and ultrasound scans are used to monitor the menstrual cycle, identify ovulation problems, and guide treatment. Once anovulation is confirmed, fertility medications may be given to stimulate egg development and improve the chances of conception.

Throughout treatment, patients are closely monitored with ultrasound scans to check how the ovaries are responding. Based on the findings, the right timing for intercourse may be advised, or an HCG injection may be given to support ovulation timing for natural conception or intrauterine insemination (IUI).
