How much is IVF at Nordica Fertility Centre?

A cycle of IVF at Nordica Fertility Centre is One Million Naira Only (N1,000,000.00) (Excluding cost of drugs)

Do I have to pay once?

Clients are allowed to pay 75% of total cost before commencement of treatment and this can be done installmentally. 25% balance is expected to be paid before the end of the treatment.

Do I need to pay before Initial Enquiry?
No, you don’t have to pay before coming in for an Initial Enquiry. It is free.
How long will the treatment take?

4-6 weeks dependent on peculiarities of the case. It may extend to 6 and 8 weeks. There’s no need for admission in the hospital.

Is it compulsory that my spouse be present at all times during my treatment?

We advise that couples should be present in every session as they would be required to go through the treatment cycle together.

How much will my drugs cost?

This varies depending on the needs of the individual and it falls within the range from N450,000 upwards, subject to investigations.

What is the success Rate?

Less than 35 years = 40 – 50%

More than 35 years = 30 – 35%

Greater than 40 years = 10% (using own eggs)

Recipient cycle = 40 – 50%

And we have had over three thousand (3,500) babies since inception

What test can be carried out at Nordica Fertility Centre?

The couple is thoroughly evaluated, blood tests are conducted, sperm analysis and ultrasound scanning are carried out at Nordica clinics. Pregnancy and ovulation tests can also be carried out at any Nordica Fertility Centre.

What treatments are offered at a Nordica Fertility Centre?

Treatment of an infertile couple includes both physical and emotional care. Nordica offers support from physicians and nurses. Our personnel are educated and trained to help you cope with the various aspects of your situation. Further, we advise our patients to join the local patient support group.

Are there any particular health risks for women undergoing infertility treatment?

Along with the intended benefits of the fertility treatment, drugs may on occasions cause side effects. Nordica strives to minimise any possible side effects of fertility treatments.

Does the clinic offer storage facilities?

Yes, at Nordica we store both frozen gametes and embryos.

Do I need to come with my spouse for consultation?
We encourage this where possible but it is not compulsory.
Will I undergo any test on my first day of coming to the clinic?
It depends. If you are within Day 2 – 5 of your menstrual cycle (women) or 2-5 days abstinence (men) you may opt to run appropriate tests.
Is there a waiting list for treatment?

There are no waiting lists at Nordica Fertility Centres. We treat you when you and your partner feel the time is right.

Will all treatment information be kept confidential?

Yes, all treatment information will be kept confidential. We want our patients to feel secure in their treatment and in the way their information on their situation is handled.
